Did you know Cannabidiol (CBD) is formed from the acidic precursor CBDa? This indicates that the cannabis plant in nature has CBDa, which is converted to CBD if heat is applied. So, if you juiced pure cannabis leaves, you’d be getting CBDa and very little CBD.
Plant waxes are organic compounds that can be classified as dietary fibre. We believe they work in synergy with other active molecules in the hemp plant and are usually filtered out of CBD products.
The main difference are the concentrations of CBD and CBDa, as well as the final stage applied in our 30 % Raw Hemp Oil paste, in which a small amount of heat is applied under filtration to remove some waxes and chlorophyll (the green color), making it smoother to taste.
